Recypark Auderghem: opening hours, address and accepted waste

Recypark Auderghem, at Chaussée de Wavre 1860, is a Bruxelles-Propreté recycling park reserved for people living in Auderghem, Ixelles, Etterbeek or Watermael-Boitsfort. It takes private individuals only, refuses any load over 2 m³, and turns away treated wood. For a clear-out bigger than 2 m³, such as a whole flat, we empty it in one visit at a fixed price.

Where is Recypark Auderghem?

Recypark Auderghem is at Chaussée de Wavre 1860, 1160 Auderghem, just after the Soignes Forest sports centre. In Dutch the commune is Oudergem and the street Waversesteenweg, so the site is also known as Recypark Oudergem.

It is one of the six Recyparks run by Bruxelles-Propreté, not a separate communal site, and it applies the regional rules with a few local twists. Those twists matter more here than anywhere else, because they decide whether you get in at all.

This page is published by an independent pickup service, not by Bruxelles-Propreté. It is based on the official Recypark rules (opens in a new tab) as read on 2 October 2026.

Who can use Recypark Auderghem

Recypark Auderghem only admits people domiciled in, or with a second residence in, Auderghem, Ixelles, Etterbeek or Watermael-Boitsfort. Residents of the other fifteen Brussels communes are turned away, even though they may use the open regional Recyparks. People in the two Woluwes have their own restricted site, Recypark Woluwe-Saint-Pierre.

At the gate you show your identity card or proof of domicile, and the address on it must be in one of the four communes. Only private individuals are accepted, so a builder clearing a kitchen in Ixelles cannot bring the waste here.

Recypark Auderghem opening hours

Recypark Auderghem keeps the standard Recypark opening hours shown in the panel, so it is open every day of the week. Sunday and Monday run from 14:00 to 20:15, Tuesday and Wednesday from 09:00 to 20:15.

The Thursday to Saturday schedule is 09:00 to 16:15. At peak times the last vehicle is admitted half an hour before the gates close.

The 2 m³ limit at Recypark Auderghem

Recypark Auderghem accepts at most 2 m³ per day, and a load above 2 m³ is refused entry. At Buda, Demets, Humanité and Sud you can go over 3 m³ by paying a flat €121, but Auderghem offers no such option.

That changes how you plan a clear-out. If a spare room produces a wardrobe, a bed base and a car full of boxes, split it into two trips on different days, or take the whole load to one of the larger open sites and pay the fee if it goes over 3 m³.

What you can bring to Recypark Auderghem

Recypark Auderghem accepts most of the regional list, from mattresses and appliances to cardboard, garden waste and bagged rubble, within the 2 m³ limit. Two local rules differ from the general list on our page about Recypark accepted waste.

  • Treated wood is refused. It has to go to another Recypark.
  • Pallets carry no fee. At most other sites a pallet costs €3.03 per piece; here, as at Woluwe-Saint-Pierre, there is no charge.
  • Food waste has its own container, as at Sud, Humanité and Demets.
  • Other paid items, such as doors, window frames and plasterboard, still cost €3.03 per piece, payable by bank card.

Where to take treated wood if you live near Auderghem

Since Recypark Auderghem refuses treated wood, take it to one of the regional sites open to all Brussels residents, such as Recypark Humanité in Forest, which has a treated wood container.

Quiet days at Recypark Auderghem

Tuesday and Wednesday are the quiet days at Recypark Auderghem, according to Bruxelles-Propreté. Both days run until 20:15, so a midweek visit after work is worth trying first.

Recypark Auderghem closures

Recypark Auderghem shuts for the day on 1 January, the third Sunday of September, 1 November, 11 November and 25 December. On the two December eves, 24 and 31 December, it closes at 18:00, or at 15:00 if that eve is a Thursday, Friday or Saturday.

Skip the trip to Recypark Auderghem: we collect from your home

The 2 m³ cap is where Recypark Auderghem stops working for a real clear-out: emptying a spare room in Etterbeek or a cellar in Watermael-Boitsfort can easily mean three or four trips. We take the whole load in one visit, with no volume limit at the door. A two-person crew carries everything out of your home and loads it into a box truck.

You send photos with your commune, and we fix the price before the collection; nothing is added on the day. Small clearances start from €250, and a garage, attic or cellar typically costs €250–600, as our Brussels bulky waste price guide explains. Because the Recypark admits private individuals only, a practice or small office in Ixelles cannot use it at all; our office clearance in Brussels is quoted from photos instead. Our page on how a bulky waste booking works explains each step. Ixelles residents also get the Recypark Mobile on 12–16 October 2026, and the Ixelles entry in our commune overview covers collection there.
