Most jobs start with a room that is too full, too heavy or too far up the stairs. We take the lot in one visit, so nothing has to wait on the landing or the pavement.
- Wardrobes, sofas, beds and mattresses

- Boxes, books, clothes and kitchen contents

Is it legal to leave bulky waste on the street in Brussels?
No. Furniture, mattresses or appliances left on the pavement count as illegal dumping (dépôt clandestin in French, sluikstorten in Dutch), and Bruxelles-Propreté removes dumped waste at the cost of whoever left it.
In the City of Brussels, dumped bulky items are taxed at €1,000 per m³ since 1 August 2026, and construction or hazardous waste at €2,000 per m³. Across the Region, environmental offences carry administrative fines from €50 to €62,500. Having it carried out from inside your home avoids all of that.

Bulky waste collection in Brussels: frequently asked questions
Last verified:
How much does bulky waste collection cost in Brussels?
A cellar, attic or garage usually costs €250 to €600, a studio or small flat €250 to €900, an apartment or terraced house €800 to €1,550 and a large family house €1,500 to €2,500. We fix the exact price from your photos before the job. See our prices.
Do you collect a single sofa or a few items?
We focus on clearances: a room's worth or more, cellars, attics, whole flats and houses. A single item on its own is not a job we take on, but it can always be added to a larger clearance.
Do you carry things down from upper floors?
Yes. The crew carries everything out of your home from any floor, with or without a lift. Stairs and access are judged from your photos and built into the fixed price.
What don't you take?
Garden waste, rubble and renovation debris, asbestos, chemicals, paint in quantity, gas bottles and clinical waste. Everything else from a normal home or office we clear: see how our bulky waste collection works.
Which communes do you cover?
All 19 communes of the Brussels-Capital Region, from Anderlecht to Woluwe-Saint-Pierre. See the areas we cover.
